We have been working individually and together to try and improve our local neighbourhoods. By introducing small changes, other community members, children and other organisations have been inspired to try new ideas and ways of making North Glasgow nicer to live in.
Donna's D

In the provanmill area of Glasgow a member of to play or not to play has been working hard at improving a small D shaped area of grass outside her home.
This grass was being used for dogs to foul on and for dumping.
Starting small with planting some tulip and daffodil bulbs other families living around the d started to gather around the idea of making the space better for children and for adults.
Next some fruit trees were planted and these have flourished in their new home.
In the spring of 2008 a planter from Glasgow wood recycling was delivered and salad leaves, potatoes, strawberries and herbs were planted.
Local children participated in the planting and even painted signs asking dog walkers to pick up their dogs mess.
Other families from across North Glasgow have visited the wee D and have been inspired by its success.
